Michael L. Norton, Ph.D., Founder & Chairman, SAB 
Dr. Michael Norton received his Ph.D. in Solid State Chemistry from Arizona State University in 1982 and performed his post-doctoral research at the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, California. Dr. Norton is an expert in nanotechnology, specializing in the development of DNA based detection systems. Acting in a primarily advisory role, Dr. Norton is a vital part of Vandalia Research, working in instrumentation, advanced technologies and biotechnology research and development.
Elizabeth Murray, Ph.D. 
Dr. Elizabeth Murray is a founder of Vandalia Research, Inc. and received her Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of
Kansas in 1986. She was employed by Agrigenetics, developing insect resistant
plants. She also worked for Promega Corporation for eight years, where she
headed manufacturing for DNA typing products. Dr. Murray holds three US
patents for her inventions and maintains many active contacts in molecular
biology reagent businesses.
Menashi Cohenford, Ph.D. 
Menashi Cohenford received his doctoral degree in biochemistry from the University of Rhode Island and completed his post-doctoral training in infectious diseases at Brown University, Providence, Rhode Island. Since then he has served at various capacities in both industry and academia where he held such positions as Coordinator of Cancer Diagnostics for BioRad-Digilab, Manager of Scientific Projects at Cytyc Corporation, Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine to Brown University, and currently as Professor of Integrated Science and Technology at Marshall University.
Michael P. Fons, Ph.D., MBA 
Dr. Fons received his Ph.D.
in virology from the University of Texas Medical Branch in 1989 and an MBA from the University of Houston
in 1999. He is currently working as a consultant offering over 17 years of experience in the
commercialization of gene delivery, vaccine and immunology technology. He was most recently (June 2010)
Vice President of Corporate Development at Inovio Pharmaceuticals of San Diego. He has held management
positions at Vical, Inc. (San Diego) and Valentis, Inc. (Burlingame, CA) and has published over 25 peer-reviewed
publications and is an inventor on certain patent applications in the field of DNA delivery.
