Vandalia Research to Present DNA Manufacturing Technology at Two Major Vaccine Conferences during December

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Vandalia Research announced today that it will be making presentations about its large-scale DNA production technology, the Triathlon™, at the 2nd Vaccine Congress and the International DNA Vaccines Conference.

The 2nd Vaccine Congress is being held at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel from December 7 through 9. Vandalia Research’s presentation, “System and process for large-scale DNA Vaccine Production by PCR”, will be made on Monday, December 8, at 5:05 PM, during the Vaccine Production and Clinical Use breakout session.

The International DNA Vaccine Conference is being held at the Tropicana in Las Vegas from December 9 through 11. Vandalia, a conference sponsor, will present “Large-Scale Linear DNA Vaccine Production Technology”, on Thursday, December 11, at 3:45 PM, during the Novel Strategies for Vaccination abstracts session.

Both presentations will be made by Derek Gregg, a founder and Vice President of Business Development for Vandalia Research, Inc. The presentations will focus on the development and capabilities of the Triathlon™, a continuous, large-scale polymerase chain reaction (PCR) system, which enables the production of specific, linear fragments of DNA for a variety of applications, including DNA vaccines.

About Vandalia Research

Vandalia Research provides custom large-scale DNA production using its proprietary Triathlon™ system. The Triathlon™ is a patent-pending system that enables the mass production of specific, high-quality DNA sequences with the polymerase chain reaction (PCR), a thermo-chemical reaction that replicates DNA outside of a cell.

Vandalia Research is now providing milligram and gram quantities of custom PCR-amplified DNA for a variety of applications, including DNA vaccines. Recently, collaborators of Vandalia Research have shown 100% protection against avian flu in pre-clinical testing, using a Triathlon™-produced DNA vaccine.
