"Best Practices" Workshop
to be Held in Chicago

Huntington, WV — On Thursday, April 6th, Vandalia Research, Inc. will be sponsoring a "Best Practices" workshop at the Biotechnology Institute's Education Conference in Chicago. The focus of the workshop will be a demonstration of the Mystery of Lyle & Louise, a suite of hands-on forensics laboratory kits, currently under development by Vandalia Research.

The product manager for the suite, Joe Hughes, and Steve Beckelhimer, Science Department Chair at Cabell Midland High School in Ona, WV, will be traveling to Chicago to present the first module of the suite, "DNA Typing".

Each year, the Biotechnology Institute's Education Conference coincides with the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO) Annual International Convention.  The Institute integrates its core programs into a one-of-a-kind national conference that focuses on best practices, competitions, hands-on professional development sessions linked to education and skill standards, mentoring workshops, and career development for students interested in biotechnology.
