Vandalia Research is housed in the American Red Cross building in downtown Huntington, WV. The company occupies 9000 sq. ft. on the first and second floors of the east wing (left side of picture below), with dedicated laboratory, office, research, and engineering spaces.

Capabilities include research-grade production of linear DNA fragments (with segregated pre- and post-production), DNA purification (chromatography, high-speed centrifugation, and lyophilization), quality control (gel electrophoresis, Agilent BioChip, HPLC, spectrophotometry, and fluorospectrophotometry).
Vandalia's DNA production facilities are operated under an established quality control manual, including standard operating procedures, manufacturing protocols, and inventory control. In addition, the company operates a BSL-2 molecular biology lab equipped with a class 100 laminar flow hood, high-speed centrifuge, autoclave, and incubated shaker.

The company's engineering facilities are equipped with electronics prototyping, metal fabrication, and welding. In addition, the company is located two blocks from the Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing, where the company regularly leases time on sophisticated CNC machining tools.
