RESPONSIBILITIES

Laboratory technicians are responsible for day-to-day laboratory duties, including media preparation, PCR optimization, plasmid extractions, DNA purifications, cloning and general molecular biology tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires a seasoned researcher. This person should have a high energy level, be hard working, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and extensive PCR experience.

SPECIFIC REQUIRMENTS:

• B.S. in Biology or related field. M.S. preferred.
• PCR experience
• Familiarity with multiple PCR platforms
• 2+ years of experience in a research lab.
• GMP / Production experience a plus
• Excellent computer skills.
• Team player; ability to function and flourish in a "hands-on" environment.
